Steve Ramsey of Woodworking for Mere Mortals and Alex from ThisWoodwork put out a kind of challenge or rather a contest (without actual competition) – make something that represents your home, your country, city, ect. And this is what I came up with, based on a project that I had planned a while back, in turn based on Steve’s Map project. So I dug that idea up and added a few personal touches.
