Fake Grain – paint it with an old Gimmick

Ever thought, this piece could do with a bit more grain? Or, why is there no tree with a lilac-green grain pattern? Fear not, for there is a way! And it is fake grain!  I saw this in my father’s things and wanted to give it a try. I assume that with some practice, you can achieve better results, but at the very least it is interesting to know that this exists.

If you prefer some actual projects instead of faking it, check out the ones that I have made. And if fake grain is not weird enough for you, try some of my weirder videos on for size. Either way, if you enjoy what I do subscribe to my newsletter, and as always, remember to be Inspired!
